TEWANTIN- NOOSA 21/10/12 Single Stableford - Game 1 of Club Championship
A beautiful day, gentleman's tee time, course in good condition except for sandy greens and we could only raise 17 players including 2 new members, Steve Bowden and Bruce Mc Colm who signed up on the day and 2 visitors- Brisbane based friends of Ty Herberts.

The next game ( and 2nd round of club ch/ships) is at Caloundra on Nov. 18th
Although many members could not attend Tewantin – Noosa for various reasons, it would be great to see a better roll up at Caloundra as it is the last game before our Christmas golf day in December.

Katrina Day Family Appeal Charity Golf Day Friday 16th Nov. Headland Golf Club.
In view of work and other matters restricting members availabilty, we have managed to field one team of 4 for this very worthwhile fundraiser. A reminder to the following to keep this day free – Carl Marschall, Steve Davis, Rhett Nagle, Steve Rado.
FINALLY - I don't think there is anyone out there either self employed, working or retired that is not aware of the downturn in our economy and rising living costs resulting in less and less expendable $s being available. This is very evident in the downturn of patronage at the KWH on Sat. afternoons providing less and less joy in our raffle results.
But as it is our sole income stream, all efforts by members who are able to do raffles is most highly appreciated - no matter what the results, it is invaluable to our survival.
Looking forward to Caloundra 8-00 am Sunday 18th Nov.
Please book your own carts if required.
Until then, Asta lavista hombres
