Beerwah April 21^st

Once again we fortunately struck a rare, great sunny day for our golf day at Beerwah. Clancy must have had a word to “The Man” requesting a fine day for guests to his home track  - well done mate !

26 players including some new members contested the very sociable 2 Ball Ambrose event.

The 4 Ball Ambrose format, coupled with a draw for teams, proved to be most social and enjoyable for members and guests– after all that's what we are out there for. Our group had a great time, but couldn't capitalise on an EAGLE on the 12^th courtesy of DAVE WATKINS ! - great drive and putt Dave  !!.

A beautiful day, gentleman's tee time, course in good condition except for sandy greens and we could only raise 17 players including 2 new members, Steve Bowden and Bruce Mc Colm who signed up on the day and 2 visitors- Brisbane based friends of Ty Herberts.

Caloundra Golf Club July 15^th   - Individual Stableford event.

The uncertainty of the weather and no carts on course certainly took its toll on numbers.

16 members took up the challenge  and apart from some slight drizzle on the first nine, and a bit wet under foot, the walk was enjoyable (still trying to assess the golf though).

G’day all,

This month saw us at the beautiful Noosa Springs Golf Club playing a 4 ball ambrose. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and the course was in excellent shape.

Mount Coolum Golf Club 20 May 2012

Only 14 members turned up to contest this event which cost the club an extra $112 of green fees as it increases pp for numbers under 20 and again for under 15. However those who played had a great day with some joyous results, and some “think I'll play Lawn Bowls” results.

Another sunny day in Gods own country – it actually got quite warm towards the last few holes.
