March 2012 – Gympie & Tin Can Bay. What can be said ?. Wet,wet,wet !.

                         9 holes of absolute deluge at Gympie is all the golf we could get in.

                         The rest of Saturday  was however still enjoyed by most. Plenty of

                         social interaction with assistance of refreshments, food, punting, gambling

                         and pool. Sunday – a bit of breaky at the TCB golf club (also awash) and

                         then onto the bus for home before the road  may have been closed.

                         Oh well, we tried.

                        20 players rocked up desperate for a game of golf only to be greeted on the

                        front 9 by rain again. I must admit I came close to being over it and was

                        getting a little ruffled to say the least – talk about dejavu. Fortunately on the

                        back 9 all came good although still very wet on course.
